Junior Customer Support Engineer - Internship

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Customer Support Engineer to join our team.

About us

At VertiStudio, we value teamwork, innovation, and customer-centricity. Our core values are putting integrity first, taking full ownership of our actions, decisions, and outcomes, being humble, staying curious, and excellence (good enough isn’t good enough). These values shape how we work together.
We aim to help small businesses thrive with lasting digital products and outstanding support.

What kind of people are we looking for?

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Basic understanding of WordPress - navigate through the dashboard and install themes/plugins; any previous project is considered an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with GitHub is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Someone who is autonomous and resourceful.
  • A communicative person with team spirit.
  • Someone who sees feedback as an opportunity to improve their work.

What will you be working on?

  • Provide support to customers via email and social platforms.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and report bugs.
  • Assist in testing new products and features.
The starting date will be 1 July 2025. The duration of the internship will be 3 months with full presence at our office in Bucharest.

Benefits

  • Be part of a diverse team - we're 10+ people spread across three continents. You'll have the opportunity to meet new people and learn more about their culture and traditions.
  • Flexible schedule; results are more important than the time you start working.
  • The opportunity to learn something new every day.

What's the process like?

Based on the test’s results, we’ll follow up with a 60’ meeting where we would like to learn more about you, and answer any questions you might have. If that goes well, you’re hired. We hate wasting other people's time, so we did our best to keep this as short and simple as possible.
